I've never been good at it. I have no idea what I'm doing on any of the tests and its the reason I'm up at 1.

Volvo means "to roll"

People stopped speaking this language for a reason.

Hey, there's a slight chance you'll be a Latin teacher. You need to know this.

If its any consolation, I got thru my 10th grade Latin exam purely by memorizing all the likely translation passages to the point where I could recognize the first few words and spit the rest out. I then dropped it as soon as my parents would let me!

I've since found to my dismay that they were right and it's an incredibly useful language to know. Latin and a bit of common sense gives you the basics of all European languages. Plus you come out actually knowing how grammar works.

Translating Catullus' Reply To My Critics is worth it. :-)

Technically, to roll is volvere. Volvo is the first person singular present active voice, so "I roll".
